Cover Story
I stumbled upon Cover Story quite by accident as I was passing the Bridge Inn in Gala by car on Friday night, I heard some great music coming from the place so I though, I need to investigate, even though it felt a little weird walking into a pub on my own not knowing anyone from either the band, the pub, or that would be out that night, but I thought to myself, go on Diane, be brave, you might just discover something new and exciting..and I did.
These guys had me hooked from the very start, for one thing it was lovely to see a young lass playing drums and she was very good at it too, not only did she have a great energy in the way she played but she had a lovely smile too and led every song in with perfect timing, their set was uplifting and fun and had everyone up dancing, the lead singer had an amazing powerful voice with a lovely tone to it, visually the band looked great and a little different, as a photographer I liked this very much, musically they were very tight and were obviously enjoying what they played, everything from Olly Murs to the Rolling Stones, loved their set! I would highly recomment these guys for any pub/ festival.
I didn't get to stay long enough for a chat with them so I never caught their names or even where they were from, I decided to go searching for them on facebook after I got home, only to discover there are quite a few bands with the name "Cover Story", but I managed to find them in the end, here's a link to their facebook page so you can find them easily...CLICK
